Life During the Holocaust

Anne Frank's Legacy

People will always follow a good example;

be the one to set a good example,

then it won't be long before the others follow.

How lovely to think that no one need wait a moment,

we can start now,

start slowly changing the world!

How lovely that everyone,

great and small,

can make their contribution

toward introducing justice straightaway...

And you can always, always give something,

even if it is only kindness!

--Anne Frank, "Give," March 26, 1944

"The world is too dangerous a place to live in....

not because of the people who do evil,

but because of the people who sit and let it happen."
